Charlie Morillas
Charlie Morillas has enjoyed a varied and successful career as a freelance trombonist in Hollywood and the Southern California area.
Charlie grew up in the San Francisco Bay area and then graduated from the University of Southern California. He was selected to play in the California High School All-Star jazz band, and the College All American Band. He has studied trombone with Bob Soder, Dan Livesay, Ned Meredith, Dennis Smith, Terry Cravens, and studied jazz improvisation with Charlie Shoemake.
Charlie has performed with numerous national and local productions of Broadway musicals including “The Lion King,” “42nd St.,” ” The Producers” ” Peter Pan,” ” Will Rogers Follies,” “Wicked” and “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.”
