Francisco Torres

Francisco Torres is a well-respected trombonist, bass trombonist, educator, composer and arranger who hails from the town of Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. While being a member of the Big Phat Band, he has also served as musical director, producer and arranger for the Grammy winning percussionist Poncho Sanchez for 15 years. He has recorded with Bob Dylan, Michael Bublé, Dr. Dre, Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez, Spoon, St. Motel, Frank Ocean and can be heard on many movie soundtracks including Coco, Incredibles 2, and Secret Life of Pets. His arranging and orchestrating work can be heard on several series including Disney's Elena of Avalor, Sofia The First, and Netflix's The Get Down and Penny Dreadful.
